FOIA On-Line provides general information about Marine Corps Systems Command’s FOIA Program
and answers some basic questions frequently asked by the public. Marine Corps Systems Commands’
FOIA Program is implemented by Secretary of the Navy Instruction 5720.42F, "Department of
the Navy Freedom of Information Act Program" (SECNAVINST 5720.42F).
There are several ways to request information from Marine Corps Systems Command.

The Marine Corps' FOIA program is decentralized, so there are FOIA offices located at
each majorMarine Corps Command that can assist you. There is pre-printed information
made available to the public in the Marine Corps libraries and on the Internet without
requesting the information underthe FOIA. We invite you to visit the Marine Corps
