Family of Field Medical Equipment (FFME)
The Family of Field Medical Equipment Team develops, modernizes, and fields medical systems for Level I and II care in response to the warfighter's need to support forward deployed expeditionary maneuver warfare concepts, while continually looking for new and better ways to deliver and support world class medical products and capabilities. This is accomplished by modernizing and procuring medical materiel within the FFME portfolio of 34 Authorized Medical/Dental Allowance Lists (AMAL/ADAL) blocks and kits such as the Individual First Aid Kit, Forward Resuscitative Surgical System, En-Route Care System, and Digital Radiology. The AMALs/ADAL are designed to rapidly deploy and establish field medical treatment facilities for the sick and injured in the theater of operations.
